London, July 21 (IANS) Pop legend Michael Jackson's sprawling Neverland ranch should be dismantled and rebuilt in Las Vegas as a permanent memorial to the star, according to a planning expert.
Attempts to restore the King of Pop's legendary home in the Santa Ynez Valley, California, would cost millions of dollars, upset local residents, and could take up to 10 years to develop.
But the entire property could be uprooted and moved to Sin City for a fraction of the price making it the ideal option for a Jackson memorial, reports contactmusic.com.
Bob Field, former Santa Ynez Valley Planning Advisory Committee chairman, is adamant restoring Neverland to its former glory - complete with fairground rides, zoo animals, and a working train.
"It would take five or 10 years. And I wouldn't bet that it would get approved... (In Vegas) the infrastructure's there. Picture what they've built on The Strip. This is easy," he said.

The Avengers Movie Fanmade PosterWith “The Avengers” movie’s superhero line-up pretty much set — The Hulk,
Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America will be the film’s founding members, with Nick Fury probably somewhere in the background pulling the strings — and we already know what the Hulk and Iron Man looks like in their “costumes”, but what about Captain America and Thor? Well, we know that Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is currently shooting “Thor” right now, and that Chris Evans has been cast as Captain America. Thanks to reader P. Delgado, here’s a fanmade poster for an “Avengers”
movie with the line-up of Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man.
The real “Avengers” poster should surface sometime in 2012, the same year that the movie is scheduled for release. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen and
comic book fanboys everywhere — two more years until we get an honest to goodness superhero team movie. Oh come on, admit it, you didn’t think it would ever happen, right?

Paul Walker and
Vin Diesel spoke at a “
Fast & Furious” press junket, revealing that fifth installment in the franchise is in the works.
When asked about a possible fifth
movie in the franchise, Walker said:
“No but I’ve heard it. I’ve heard it in the rumor mill. Like, I’ve spoken with executives at Universal at this point, and they’re pretty serious about it. They know where they want it to take place. They want to do it in Europe.”
On the subject on Vin Diesel reprising his Toretto role for a third time, Walker was pretty candid:
”I know Vin’s in there already”
Walker would also love to see
Tyrese Gibson’s character from “
2 Fast 2 Furious” return.
”Oh, man, he’s my brother. I love that guy. I had so much fun with him making the second one. He’s just one of those people that’s fun to be around. He’s just a big kid.”

Source: Latino Review, Jon Favreau
Latino Review crew recently got an unconfirmed scoop that Harrison Ford would be joining Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde in Jon Favreau's adaptation of Platinum Studio's graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens. Today, director Favreau put an abrupt end to the gossip as he confirmed the scoop via Twitter. Indeed, Han Solo/Indiana Jones/Jack Ryan will be working on the sci-fi Western, due to begin lensing this summer.
Favreau posted the following on his Twitter account:
Please stop asking if Harrison Ford is in Cowboys & Aliens. Okay? He is. Please don't tell anybody.
The highly anticipated film explores what would happen if the traditional Old West enemies -- cowboys and Native Americans -- found the prairie attacked by aliens in mid-1800s Arizona. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof wrote the script.
This is production that we at Hollywood.com have been following closely, as it always has had enormous potential to be one of the biggest films of 2011. When Robert Downey Jr. left the project, we didn't know if the studio could turn the momentum back around. Then came word that Craig would star, with Wilde joining not long after. Though we were plenty excited about that, Ford's confirmed involvement now has us pining for more! Things are now looking even better for next summer. The DreamWorks and Universal Pictures production is targeting a July 29, 2011 release.
Well, this is a howdy-do. With Robert Downey Jr. having
jumped ship on the Jon Favreau sci-fi/Western “Cowboys and Aliens”, the trades are saying James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, is now in negotiations to take over the role vacated by RDJ. That role is of a Wild West gunslinger named Zeke Jackson, who teams up with some local Apaches to resist some alien invaders intent on enslaving the Arizona populace. The film will be based on the comic book created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.
Craig is still in the early stages of negotiations, and honestly, I don’t see him as a cowboy, but who knows, maybe his cowboy accent will be spot-on if he does saddle up.
