Just Say No: 1973 Corvette StingRay Sports Wagon Conversion for Sale
Creating something different to stand out from the crowd can often have the wanted results but not in the positive way one might expect. Or at least that's what we think about this 1973 Corvette StingRay that appears to have been butchered into a shooting-brake-like model for the sole purpose of calling it "originality"... Nevertheless, if you're interested, it's up for sale on eBay with a 'Buy it Now' price of "only" $25,000. More pics after the break. Hat tip to Alex! - Link: eBay
A 1977 Porsche 911 Convertible with the front end of a 928, the rear of a 959 and the sides of a Carrera GT (or at least parts that imitate those cars)? Welcome to the "sinful" world of customized sports cars. If your stomach is up to it, there's more beauty to found in the modded Porsche's two-tone interior. We find it hard to believe that any of you will actually be interested in the Porsche, but just in case, the car is for sale on Craigslist in Portland for a mere $12,995.
Family Ties: Audi Owner Rebadges TT Coupe as a Volkswagen
At a first glance, few would guess that the first generation Audi TT shares a platform, engine and most of its mechanics with parent company Volkswagen's Golf as well as the VW Jetta, New Beetle, Seat Leon, Skoda Octavia etc., etc. Call it down right honesty, call it stupid, you know, call it whatever, but the owner of this 2000 model year Audi TT Coupe, which is up for sale on eBay, had no problem at all replacing Ingolstadt's four-ring logos with the VW badge. He even went as far as adding a couple of VW emblems on the seats. "I just added Volkswagen logos around to make it look different, since they are the same company," said the eBay with a sincerity that could do with a good a dose of self-irony. More pics for your enjoyment after the jump. Kudos to Marcus for the tip! , Link: eBay
